The following divisions comprise the Community Services Department. Assistant City Manager Ari Lenz serves as the director of the department.
City Clerk
Elections
The Elections division supervises elections, registers voters and certifies election results. It reviews all state and federal legislation, trains judges, prepares equipment and polling places, and counts all election ballots.
Inspections
Reception
This division answers calls at the main switchboard for the City; directs walk-in traffic to the appropriate department; issues dog licenses, family garden plots and parking permits; and provides clerical assistance to other departments.
Communications
The communications division provides a newsletter and website for the City and its residents, businesses and organizations, as well as maintains Ask the City, the City's automated message line.
Management Information Systems
The Information Services division provides all network hardware and software support for the City. It also provides individual City employees with hardware and software support.
