Referrals for Housing at Vista 44
The City of Hopkins does not own or operate Vista 44 and is not involved in the referral process.
Referrals for housing at Vista 44 are processed through the Hennepin County Coordinated Entry System and Hennepin County Child Welfare referrals only.
If you are an unsheltered household or staying in a non-Hennepin run shelter with at least one adult and one minor child or pregnant person, please contact Agate Housing and Services at 612-361-5439 or fill out the Families Coordinated Entry referral form to set up a CES assessment appointment.
If you are currently in an emergency shelter, request a case manager from the shelter you're staying in and mention your interest in a CES assessment. If you need emergency shelter, please contact the Hennepin Shelter Hotline at 612-204-8200.
Project Update
Construction on Vista 44 was completed in summer 2024.
Project Background
Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative (Vista 44 Housing Limited Partnership) has broken ground on a 4-story, 50-unit multifamily apartment building located on the one acre portion of land previously owned by St. Joseph's Church across from Central Park.
Vista 44 will provide rental housing to families who make less than $30,000 a year, will include one, two and three-bedroom apartment units, and individualized on-site support services through Volunteers of America. The tailored and individualized support helps children do better in school, parents increase income, and families improve long-term health.
More information can be found on Beacon's website.
