Connections - A Weekly Update from the City of Hopkins

Free Holiday Tree Pick-Up is Week of January 11

Holiday trees will be picked up curbside, free of charge for Hopkins residential garbage customers the week of January 11. You do not need to call to schedule this service —simply place your tree on the boulevard (no alley pick-ups) by 6 a.m. the day of your garbage service. Wreaths or decorations containing metal pieces will not be accepted, and bags and stands must be removed. More information on tree pick-up is available here.

Broken Lights? Don't Toss Them!

Don’t throw those broken or unwanted holiday lights in the trash! Instead bring them to Hopkins Public Works. All stringed lights and electrical cords are accepted, including extension cords, phone cords and computer cables. Hopkins Public Works is located at 11100 Excelsior Boulevard.
