The water consumption charges per 1,000 gallons for residential and multi-family units. Multi-family units receive credit for each unit in the complex when calculating tiered rates.
For example, if a multi-family unit has 50 units, each unit is treated as an individual user when calculating the tiers. In this multi-family example of 50 units using 319,000 gallons the bill would be calculated as follows:
