Hopkins Artspace Open House is November 16

Building on the strength of the arts community in Hopkins, the City and Artspace, a nonprofit developer of affordable spaces for artists, are working together to explore the feasibility of creating new affordable live/work housing for artists on Lot 800, a City-owned parking lot on the northwest corner of 1st Street N and 10th Avenue N.

A series of events are scheduled for the public to learn more about Artspace, inform the site design for the project, and share ideas, beginning with an Open House on Saturday, November 16, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Hopkins Activity Center (33 14th Avenue N). Drop-in for hot cocoa, art making, a performance by House of Dance, and short videos on artist housing. Find more information about the project and future events here.
