Snow Emergency Declared Beginning Tonight at 9 p.m.

The City of Hopkins has declared a snow emergency effective beginning at 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 9. Residents must remove vehicles from the restricted locations (City streets, City parking lots and right-of-ways) prior to 9 p.m. to avoid being towed, until the streets are plowed curb to curb. Find a designated snow emergency parking location nearest you: https://www.hopkinsmn.com/549/Snow-Emergency-Parking-Locations.

Following the snow emergency, new City-wide parking restrictions will go into effect. There will be no parking allowed on the odd side of any residential City street (addresses that end in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9) until further notice. The Downtown Central Business District is not included in these new parking restrictions. Hopkins Police will be issuing $37 tickets to those who park on the odd address side of a residential street.
