May Day Music on Main is May 5

Don't miss the second annual May Day Music on Main tomorrow, May 5, beginning at 3 p.m. on Mainstreet outside the Hopkins Center for the Arts. Featuring live music, food trucks, a silent auction and more, there will be something fun for everyone. More information is available here


Brush and Yard Waste Drop-Off Site Opens May 5

The free brush and yard waste drop-off site for Hopkins residential garbage customers opens for the season on Saturday, May 5. Hours of operation are Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The pilot organics recycling program also begins on May 5. The drop-off site is located at 3100 Hopkins Crossroads. More details are available here.


Valley Park Clean Up is May 6

Do good for your community this weekend by participating in the Hopkins Valley Park Clean Up on Sunday, May 6, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Volunteers should wear clothing that covers the arms and legs, and closed toe shoes (rubber boots are recommended). Gloves, bags, trash grabbers and snacks will be provided. Learn more and register to volunteer here


John Gorka Concert is May 12

Tickets are still available for the John Gorka Concert on Saturday May 12, at 8 p.m., at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. The renowned singer-songwriter will close the Arts Center's 20th music season. Learn more about Gorka and purchase tickets here.
