Arts North 28: International Juried Art Exhibition 
Opens January 14

An opening reception for the Arts North 28: International Juried Art Exhibition will be held Saturday, January 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. This highly competitive international juried exhibition showcases work by artists from as far as Japan, Canada, and throughout the United States through February 25. Save the Date: Kids' Fest is February 5

Everyone’s family favorite event, Kids’ Fest, returns Sunday, February 5, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Hopkins Pavilion. Hosted by Hopkins-Minnetonka Recreation Services, this free event features a variety of fun winter activities, including dog sled and horse-drawn trolley rides, ice carving demonstrations, ice skating and kicksledding, music, art, crafts and entertainers. Concessions will be available for purchase. The event includes both indoor and outdoor activities, so dress accordingly. Find more information on the City of Minnetonka website. 

Join the Hopkins Ukulele Group at the Activity Center

Learning to play the ukulele can now be even more fun with the all new Hopkins Ukulele Group on Mondays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Hopkins Activity Center. This inclusive group will be for those who are already skilled at playing the ukulele to continue practicing, as well as beginners just starting out to come and strum along together. HUG is not an instructor based class, but rather a learn-as-you-play group. Music will be provided, but you must bring your own ukulele. The activity fee is $3 per session or free for Activity Center members. Registration is not required.
