Clothing Swap for High School Students is May 8

Do you know any high school students who are looking for a fun way to gain a new wardrobe? The Depot will be hosting an outdoor clothing swap for high school students Saturday, May 8, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You do not need to bring clothes to participate, and free treats will be provided by the Depot.

Make Your Next Event Zero Waste

Without thoughtful planning, a considerable amount of waste can be generated at events, no matter the size of the event. Courtesy of Hennepin County, the City of Hopkins has portable recycling and organics containers available for your next event. Containers are free to use with a refundable damage deposit. Disposal of materials collected is not included in the rental. Learn more and reserve containers for your event here.

Republic Services is Hopkins' New Recycling Provider

Beginning May 10, 2021, Republic Services will be providing recycling service for Hopkins’ customers. Waste management should have collected Hopkins residential customers' green and yellow recycling carts after pick-up was completed this week. If yours was not removed, please contact Public Works at 952-939-1382. If you did not receive a blue Republic recycling cart, or would like to request a different size or additional cart, also contact Public Works, or submit a request online here.
