Thanksgiving Meal Nominations Due November 16

The Hopkins Police Department has joined together with the Hopkins Fire Department, the Hopkins Rotary, and the Hopkins Business and Civic Association to deliver Thanksgiving meals, provided by Driskill's Downtown Market, to those in need. If you, your family, a friend or a neighbor are in need of a Thanksgiving meal you can submit an online nomination form. If you are unable to submit a nomination online, please contact Anne Buck at 952-548-6407. Brush and Yard Waste Site Closes November 21

The free yard waste/brush drop-off site (3100 Hopkins Crossroad) will be open Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Saturday, November 21, weather permitting. After November 21, the site will close for the season. Learn what's accepted at the drop-off site here.

Save the Date: Virtual Truth-in-Taxation Hearing is November 30

Interested in how your tax dollars are spent? Attend the virtual 2021 Truth-in-Taxation Hearing on Monday, November 30, at 7 p.m. The 2021 Budget will be presented, along with the proposed 2021 tax levy. This is the final opportunity for the community to provide input on the budget before it is approved. Information on attending virtually can be found here.
