The City of Hopkins is seeking applicants for two open positions on the Planning and Zoning Commission and one opening on the Charter Commission.
What’s expected from you:
- The Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings typically last 2 to 3 hours, but this may vary. There are occasional special meetings and some outside prep work that commissioners can expect, such as reviewing their meeting packets in advance.
- The Charter Commission meets two to three times per year depending on the need.

Staff liaisons will be at City Hall on Tuesday, April 24, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. to answer questions and explain more about the opportunity. Those interested in applying for the Planning and Zoning Commission are encouraged to stay for the April Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, which will follow the information session.
