The City of Hopkins has three volunteer boards or commissions to advise and assist the City Council on City policies, procedures, and operations. These commissions are comprised of volunteer residents and an appointed staff member as a liaison.
The Planning and Zoning Commission is designed to serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council and administration and is empowered to perform certain quasi-judicial functions.
