- National origin
- Family status

Minnesota Human Rights Act
The Minnesota Human Rights Act prohibits the same discriminations as the Federal Fair Housing Act. Additionally, it prohibits discrimination based on:
- Sexual or affectional orientation
- Marital status
- Status with regard to receipt of public assistance.
