Shady Oak Beach Set to Close August 20

There are just a few days left to enjoy the sun at Shady Oak Beach. The beach is set to close at the end of the day on Tuesday, August 20. Shady Oak Beach is located at 5200 Shady Oak Road and is open 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. More information about the beach is available here.


Hopkins Activity Center Ice Cream Social is August 22

Join the Hopkins Activity Center for a free ice cream social featuring the Aquatennial Senior Singers next Thursday, August 22, at 6:30 p.m. Donations of a non-perishable food item for the ICA food shelf or a back-to-school supply for ResourceWest are encouraged. 

Bicycle Friendly Community Survey

The City of Hopkins recently applied to be designated as a Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists. As part of their review process, the League is seeking your input to gain a better understanding of local bicyclists’ experiences in Hopkins. We encourage you to take the survey. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete and will remain open until September 22. Take the survey here.
