Celebration of Community is July 20

Join the Hopkins Police Department and the Joint Community Police Partnership for a Celebration of Community on Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. The event will feature exhibits, arts, crafts, music, dancing and more highlighting the diversity within the Hopkins community. Learn more about the event here.


Raspberry Festival Ends July 21 with Grande Day Parade

Don't miss the last weekend of events for the 85th Annual Hopkins Raspberry Festival. The festival ends Sunday, July 21, with the Grande Day Parade, beginning at 1 p.m. Find a full list of events, including the Marketplace Arts and Crafts Fair and the Raspberry Festival of Bands, on the Raspberry Festival website here.


Dee Miller Band Concert is July 25

The Sunset Series continues Thursday, July 25, with the Dee Miller Band at 7 p.m. in Downtown Park. All Sunset Series concerts are free and open to the public. More information about the Sunset Series is available here.

Historical Society Raspberry Festival Exhibit

The Hopkins Historical Society's new exhibit, Raspberries, Parades and Royalty: 85 Years of the Hopkins Raspberry Festival, will be on display until July 20 at the Hopkins History Center, 907 Mainstreet. Stroll through the displays featuring artifacts, images and narratives which tell the story of the importance of raspberry cultivation in the Hopkins area and highlight many of the fun events that have made the Hopkins Raspberry Festival so popular. Southwest Light Rail Open House

Come to a community open house to learn about 2019 SWLRT construction activities and what to expect. Metropolitan Council project staff will be on hand to answer questions. Open House: July 25 4:30 - 7 pm (presentation at 6 pm). More information can be found at SWLRT.org
