2019 Step To It Challenge Ends May 28

The final day of the 2019 Step To It Challenge is Tuesday, May 28. Top steppers in Hopkins will have the chance to win tickets to the Friday, July 19, Twins game versus the Oakland Athletics. Water Treatment Plant Open House is June 8

Hopkins Public Works invites the community to tour the water treatment plant at 1498 7th Street N ton Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come learn about where your tap water comes from and experience operating heavy equipment using a simulator. Hot dogs and chips will be provided. Be sure to visit the petting zoo while you’re there!

Bikeable Community Workshop is June 18

Join the City of Hopkins, the Minnesota Departments of Health and Transportation and the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota on June 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for a day filled with learning, discussion, action planning and a leisurely-paced bike ride that highlights bicycle facilities and future opportunities in Hopkins. Four Spots Left for 2019 Summer Youth Program

The Hopkins Police Department is looking for four students between the ages of 12 and 15 to participate in the 2019 Summer Youth Program. The Summer Youth Program provides hands-on learning about law enforcement with local police, and touches on topics including life skills, community outreach, and sports and games. This FREE nine-week program begins June 20 and runs nine consecutive Thursdays through August 15.
