Registration for Step To It Challenge Begins April 1

Do you have a competitive spirit? Do you want a fun and easy way to kick start a
springtime exercise program? Sign-up for the four-week Step To It Challenge from
May 1–28 and get moving again after a cold winter. Over 20 communities will compete to see which one has the most active residents. Participants have a chance to win Twins Tickets and be honored by Hennepin County and the Minnesota Twins at a home game during the 2019 season. Learn more about Step To It and register here.



Multigenerational Service Fair is April 7

Hopkins Community Education and the Hopkins Women's Club are hosting a Multigenerational Service Fair on Sunday, April 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Eisenhower Community Center. Residents of all ages are invited to drop-in and enjoy a variety of hands-on service projects that will support the work of  local non-profit social service agencies. Rain Barrels Now Available for Purchase

The City of Hopkins, in cooperation with the Recycling Association of Minnesota, is holding a rain barrel sale. The cost for a single rain barrel is $79, but Hopkins residents can receive a $20 discount by using the coupon code HOPKINS20. Quantities are
limited. Rain barrels must be picked up on Thursday, May 9, between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., or Friday, May 10, between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. To purchase a rain barrel, you must pre-order online here.


Board and Commissions Applications Now Open 

Interested in serving your community? Hopkins is seeking applicants to serve on City boards and commissions. The City of Hopkins has four volunteer boards or commissions to advise and assist the City Council on City policies, procedures and operations. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 26. Recruitment information and applications can be found here.
