Residents Encouraged to Complete
Tree Trust Survey By March 22

The City of Hopkins is partnering with Tree Trust in cooperation with Hennepin County's Green Partners Grant and we need your help! Residents are encouraged to complete a brief survey that will help inform Tree Trust's programming around trees and invasive species. All survey participants will be entered into a raffle for a free tree for their yard. The survey deadline is Friday, March 22.

In addition, the City is having representatives from Rainbow Tree Care do a tree inventory on public boulevards, right of ways and City park property beginning March 18. This work involves measuring the diameter of the trees and rating the tree’s health and will last for about a month, weather dependent. This is a part of Hopkins' ash tree management plan and will help the City budget for forestry work related to emerald ash borer. If you have any questions, contact Hopkins Public Works at 952-939-1382.
