Only holiday trees will be picked-up – no other brush, branches, sticks, wreaths or decorations containing metal will be accepted. Tree bags and stands must be removed.

ArtSpace Market Study Meeting is January 8

The results are in! Join the Hopkins City Council on Tuesday, January 8, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Hopkins Fire Station (101 17th Ave S, Hopkins) to hear about the conclusions of the Artspace market study. The study tested the market support for an artist live/work  housing development in Hopkins, as well as the interest in shared creative space, performing art space and private studios. The report findings will be presented and next steps will be discussed. Study results will be available on the City’s website after the meeting.

Hopkins – What's Our Message?

Do you love Hopkins and have an opinion about what makes it so awesome? We want to hear from you! The City of Hopkins is looking to refresh how we message that Hopkins is a great place to live, work, shop and play.

As part of this, the City is working with Alan Schutte of Platt Hollow Road, a consulting firm based in Hopkins. Alan will lead a strategic brief process to find out from the community what makes Hopkins special in order to guide how we can best convey that message. The intent is to do so under the umbrella of Think Hopkins, which is the joint marketing effort between the City of Hopkins and the Hopkins Business and Civic Association.

Please join us for a community meeting from 6:30-7:30 pm on Tuesday, January 8, to learn about the strategic brief process. The community meeting will be part of the City Council work session at the Fire Station (101 17th Avenue South). Refreshments will be served.

If you are unable to attend, but would like to take part in the process, please email Courtney Pearsall cpearsall@hopkinsmn.com. After the community meeting, she will send you a strategic brief form for you to fill out and return.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts!
