Outdoor Ice Rinks Open December 15

Weather permitting, skating rinks will open for the season on Saturday, December 15. Rinks with warming houses are available for your enjoyment at six Hopkins park locations. Homestead Applications Due December 15

Property owners in Hennepin County have until December 15 to complete a homestead application for 2019. Eligible applicants must have moved into their home on or before December 1, 2018. Hennepin County offers an online filing application, and all of the details about homestead applications are available here.

City Hall Services Move to Fire Station January 2

City Hall services will be moving to the Fire Station on January 2 as the City prepares for the renovation of City Hall. Limited meeting space will be available throughout the transition and some staff will be located at other facilities. Residents are asked to call ahead and make appointments for non-routine items.

The utility billing drop box will be moved to the red drop box on the south side of the fire station starting in January. City Council, Park Board and Planning and Zoning Commission meetings will be held at the Fire Station after January 3. More information about the renovation project is available here.
