Cops N Kids Shopping Nominations Due November 16

Do you know a Hopkins resident between the ages of 12 and 14 who would benefit from police mentorship? The Hopkins Police Department is now accepting nominations for Cops N Kids Shopping coming up on Tuesday, December 11. Nominations can be completed online or by filling out a form in the police department lobby. All nominations are due by Friday, November 16. Learn more and fill out a nomination application here

Play Turkey Bingo with Hopkins Police November 17

The Hopkins Police Department is hosting their annual Turkey Bingo on Saturday, November 17, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Hopkins Activity Center.  For $10, play 10 games for the chance to win a turkey and all the fixings. Raffles will be held between games. The money raised will help support Cops N Kids events and youth outreach. Participants must be 18 years or older to attend. 

Take 6 with Give Get Sistet Concert is November 24

The next concert in the Hopkins Center for the Arts 2018/2019 concert series is coming up Saturday, November 24, at 8 p.m. R&B a cappella group Take 6, the most awarded a cappella group in history, will be joined by Give Set Sistet, an improvisational chorus of women based in the Twin Cities, on stage at the Art Center. Learn more about the concert and purchase tickets here.

Old Fashioned Holiday in Hopkins is November 24

It's the most wonderful time of the year – again! Join the Hopkins Business and Civic Association on Small Business Saturday for the 9th Annual Old Fashioned Holiday in Hopkins. Kick off the season with a day of wagon rides, reindeer games, hot chocolate and, of course, Santa Claus. This is a family-friendly event for all ages. Events begin at 1 p.m. on Mainstreet and culminate at 5 p.m. with the Santa Claus processional from the Hopkins Center for the Arts to Downtown Park for the tree lighting and closing ceremonies.
