Depot Coffee House 20th Anniversary Celebration is October 20

The Depot Coffee House is celebrating 20 years on Saturday, October 20, from 3 to 5 p.m. Meet current advisory board members and staff, renew old relationships, and enjoy food and drinks on the house. More information is available here.


Hopkins Historical Society Annual Meeting is October 21

Join the Hopkins Historical Society for its annual meeting on Sunday, October 21, beginning at 2 p.m. at the Hopkins Activity Center. Following a brief business meeting and presentation of the 2018 Hopkins Historic Home, the group will provide updates on museum operations and plans for the Hopkins History Center on Mainstreet. Free Leaf and Yard Waste Pick-Up Begins October 29

Free fall leaf and yard waste bag pick-up will be on your regular garbage day October 29 through November 21. If you live in the Bellgrove, Hobby Acres, Park Ridge and Interlachen Park, leaf and yard waste will be picked-up using front-end loaders and dump trucks November 5 through 8. Find the schedule for your neighborhood's pick-up day on the City website. You do not need to schedule this pick-up. Information about pick-up guidelines is available here.


City Seeking Feedback on Draft 2040 Comprehensive Plan

The City recently completed its Draft 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update – Cultivate Hopkins and is now seeking feedback from the community. The public can review the draft plan online or at City Hall and provide comment for the next six months. Comments and feedback can be made on the website or sent directly to City Planner Jason Lindahl. View the plan online here
