Fire Department Open House and Anniversary
Celebration is October 13

The Hopkins Fire Department will host its annual Open House and celebrate 125
years of service to the community at the Hopkins Fire Station, 101 17th Avenue S, on
Saturday, October 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Afterwards, a 125th anniversary celebration will be held at LTD Brewing Co., 8 8th Avenue N, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring music, outside games and food trucks. Learn more about the event here.


Halloween in Hopkins is October 27

Break out your costumes a little early and head downtown for a day of family fun for the Hopkins Business and Civic Association's Halloween in Hopkins on Saturday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Start out at the Hopkins Police Department for the Haunted Jail Tour, then head one block over for Mainstreet trick-or-treating – just look for the “treat stop” signs. Bad Bad Hats Headlines Depot's Annual Halloween

The Depot Coffee House’s annual Youth Halloween Show is Saturday, October 27, from 7 to 10:30 p.m. The show features Love Sequence and a headliner performance by the Bad Bad Hats. Costumes are required! Purchase tickets for the show here.


Save the Date: Hopkins Race and Equity Initiative Community Conversation is November 29

Save the date for the next Hopkins Race and Equity Initiative community conversation on civility in Hopkins. The event is scheduled for Thursday, November 29, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Hopkins High School. Hear from three panelists from diverse backgrounds to come to a better understanding of what civility means. The Hopkins Race and Equity Initiative is a collaboration between the City of Hopkins, the Hopkins Police Department, Hopkins Public Schools and Gethsemane Lutheran Church.
