Central Park Pickleball Courts Grand Opening

The Pickleball courts in Central Park are now open for use, but the official Grand Opening event is coming up on Wednesday, September 19, at 5 p.m. Watch the ribbon cutting and ceremonial Pickleball hit, meet and greet other Pickleball enthusiasts and come prepared to play! View the event flyer here.


Artery Grand Opening 2.0 is September 22

The weather didn’t cooperate in June for the grand opening of the Artery — the unique bike, pedestrian, and vehicle connection and community space on 8th Avenue — so we’re going to give it another try! Come celebrate the Artery Grand Opening 2.0 on Saturday, September 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., on 8th Avenue S between Excelsior Boulevard and Mainstreet. The family-friendly day will begin with Zumba on the Artery, followed by live performances, games, art, biking, food and more. The Pavilion is Now Open 

The Pavilion is now open after receiving an extensive upgrade to the 27-year-old facility. The first day of ice and weekday open skate is Tuesday, September 18. A grand re-opening event will be held Saturday, September 29, from noon to 3 p.m. Learn more about the Pavilion and the grand re-opening event here.


Three Rivers Seeking Feedback for 2040 System Plan

The Three Rivers Park District is in the process of creating their 2040 System Plan, which will include a vision for Three Rivers’ future and serve as the road map to achieving that vision. From now through the end of September, they are seeking input from the people, communities and partner agencies they serve. Take the System Plan survey to share your thoughts and ideas on what they are doing well and what they can improve improve here.
