Summer Recreation Program Registration
Begins March 13

Registration for Hopkins-Minnetonka Summer Recreation Programs begins Tuesday, March 13, at 8 a.m. Visit eminnetonka.com/recreationbrochure to check out the program options and choose from hundreds of activities, including fitness classes, kids’ programs, craft opportunities and athletic leagues. To register, visit eminnetoka.com/register to register online, or call 952-939-8203 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.


Empty Bowls is March 13

The 20th annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser will be held Tuesday, March 13, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. The event is free and open to all in the community. Attendees are invited to make a freewill donation to support the ICA Food Shelf and ResourceWest. Learn more about the Empty Bowls Fundraiser here


Become a Tree Steward

Hennepin County, in partnership with the University of Minnesota and the City of Hopkins, is offering a class for residents to become certified tree stewards on Saturday, March 31, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Hopkins Fire Station. Tree stewards are trained volunteers who learn about the basics of tree care, then have opportunities to participate in tree care and tree planting events in their community. The cost to attend $25 per person. Learn more about the program and register here.
