Rain Barrel Sale Opens February 28The City of Hopkins is partnering with the Recycling Association of Minnesota to offer a rain barrel sale to Hopkins residents. Rain barrels are $100 each and are made of 100 percent recycled material, can hold 45 gallons of water, and come with a shut-off valve, hose and debris screen kit. Pick-up will be in mid-May at Hopkins Public Works. Keep an eye out on social media, Connections or the website for more information coming soon.

Façade Improvement Program Now Accepting Applications The Façade Improvement Program is accepting applications until March 20, 2026. Eligible properties are located between 5th Avenue and Shady Oak Road and between 1st Street N and 1st Street S. The City will fund, on a competitive basis, up to 50 percent of the cost of eligible improvements up to $25,000. Learn more about the program and apply online.
