Text that says Connections, a weekly update from the City of Hopkins

State of the City is January 29

Get ready to play along at this year’s State of the City event on Thursday, January 29, at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. Inspired by the classic game show Hollywood Squares, this year’s program will put City leaders in the spotlight as we share the latest updates on Hopkins’ accomplishments, priorities and what’s ahead. Arrive early to enjoy a reception featuring appetizers and refreshments from local businesses. It’s a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, visit with City leaders, and get in the game before the show begins. Attendees are encouraged to bring a monetary donation or non-perishable food item to support the local ICA food shelf. The reception will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., with the State of the City program beginning at 6 p.m.

Kids' Fest is February 1

Everyone’s family favorite winter event, Kids’ Fest, returns Sunday, February 1, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Minnetonka Community Center, 14600 Minnetonka Boulevard. Hosted by Hopkins-Minnetonka Recreation Services, this free event features a variety of fun winter activities, including horse-drawn trolley rides, ice sculptures, face painting, crafts and more. The event includes both indoor and outdoor activities, so dress accordingly. Find more information on the City of Minnetonka website.
