Charter Commission Applications Due December 31

The City of Hopkins is seeking dedicated residents to serve on the Charter Commission. The Charter Commission helps review and maintain the City’s Charter, ensuring that Hopkins’ governing document remains effective and up to date. Interested residents are encouraged to apply online by December 31. Final appointments are made by the Chief Judge of Hennepin County. 2026 Parking Permits Now Available

Need to park in Downtown Hopkins for an extended period of time? Most of the parking lots downtown require a parking permit if you're staying for more than a couple hours. 2026 parking permits are available now. Permits may be purchased online or at City Hall, Monday through Friday between 8 a .m. and 4:30 p.m. Learn more about parking in Downtown Hopkins and purchase a parking permit online. 

Small Business Grants Program

Main Street America and Amex are offering the Shop Small Grants Program. Eligible small business owners across the U.S. can apply for $20,000 grants. Applications are accepted until Friday, January 16. Learn more online.
