Active Aging Health & Resource Fair is October 10Discover ways to live a healthy and active lifestyle at the Hopkins Activity Center’s Active Aging Health and Resource Fair on Friday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to noon. Senior adults are welcome to visit wellness vendor booths, assess their fitness level, explore housing options and speak with agencies that support active aging. No registration is required to attend this free event. A flu shot and Covid vaccination clinic will be available onsite. Free Leaf and Yard Waste Pick-Up Begins October 20Free fall leaf and yard waste bag pick-up will be on your regular garbage day October 20 through November 13. If you live in the Bellgrove, Hobby Acres, Park Ridge and Interlachen Park neighborhoods, leaf and yard waste will be picked-up using front-end loaders and dump trucks November 3 through 6.
