Join us for a Community Viewing of NO other land on August 6th
Directed by a collective of Palestinian and Israeli activists, No Other Land follows Basel, a young Palestinian activist documenting the destruction of his homeland in Masafer Yatta, a West Bank region facing forced displacement by Israeli military forces. Through his lens, we witness the relentless demolition of homes and the struggle of families fighting to remain on their land. Amidst the devastation, Basel forms an unexpected friendship with Yuval, an Israeli journalist who seeks to amplify his story. But as their bond deepens, the stark realities of their lived experiences challenge the limits of solidarity. The film has won many international awards as well as the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature at the 97th Academy Awards. View the film at 6pm on August 6th and then join us for a community conversation on the film on August 20th. These events are free and open to the public. Registration required, sign up here. Capacity is limited to 150 guests.
