Community Image Award Deadline is Today

Do you know someone in Hopkins who has made significant improvements to their property in the past year? The City is seeking nominations for the 2023 Community Image Awards. The City of Hopkins' Community Image Awards honor property owners and business owners whose pride shines through their property. Property improvements include landscaping, accessibility improvements, lighting, signs or exterior improvements. Learn more about the program and submit a nomination. 

Ice Season Returns to the Pavilion September 4

Weekday Open Skates at the Hopkins Pavilion will begin on September 4. Adult Open Skate with sticks and pucks is open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Open Skate for any age with sticks and pucks is held weekdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday Open Skates begin on October 6. All Open Skates are $5 for adults, $4 seniors and students and free for kids under 5. Find more information about ice activities at the Pavilion.

Energy and Water Efficiency Rebate Applications Open

The City of Hopkins is accepting rebate applications for two programs. The Hopkins Climate Solutions Fund offers incentives for residential, business, and commercial projects to accelerate our transition to cleaner and more efficient energy. The Water Efficiency Rebate program offers rebates to improve water efficiency when an existing product is replaced with an eligible WaterSense or Energy Smart certified product. This program is offered in partnership with the Metropolitan Council and the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment. Learn more about the two programs and apply online.
