Hopkins-Minnetonka Winter-Spring Recreation Registration Begins December 13

Registration for general winter-spring recreation programs begins Tuesday, December 13, at 8 a.m., with registration for senior programs beginning Thursday, December 15, at 8 a.m. Visit minnetonkamn.gov/register to browse the program options and to register. Choose from an array of activities including kids’ programs, tennis lessons, craft opportunities and athletic leagues. There is something for everyone! Register online or over the phone between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling 952-939-8203 (General Programs) or 952-939-8393 (Senior Programs).

Option for Every Other Week Garbage Service 
Available Beginning in 2023 

Beginning January 2023, residents who have the smallest size garbage, the 35 gallon cart, and are signed up for organics recycling, may down-size their garbage service level to every other week collection. The rate for this new service will be $13.85/month.  Collection will take place on the weeks opposite of recycling. Residents may request this change in service on our website.

Hennepin County Post-Election Survey

The Hennepin County Elections Department is conducting a post-election survey to understand how to better serve voters. The survey is completely anonymous, translated into five languages and takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Feedback will be used to help Hennepin County make informed decisions about their elections approach and how to administer elections going forward. Take the survey.
