Election Day is November 8

The 2022 general election will be held Tuesday, November 8. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. City Hall will also be open extended hours for absentee voting on Saturday, November 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Monday, November 7, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit mnvotes.org to find your polling place, request a ballot or view your sample ballot. Salute to Vets Program is November 10

The Hopkins Activity Center is hosting their annual Salute to Vets program and lunch on Thursday, November 10, beginning at 10:45 a.m. The program will honor veterans for their committed service. Reservations are required to attend by calling 952-929-1333. The cost is free for veterans, $9 for members and $10 for non-members.

Thanksgiving Meal Delivery Nominations Due November 9

The Hopkins Police Department has joined together with the Hopkins Fire Department, the Hopkins Rotary, and the Hopkins Business and Civic Association to deliver Thanksgiving meals, provided by Driskill's Downtown Market, to those in need. If you, your family, a friend or a neighbor are in need of a Thanksgiving meal, submit an online nomination form by 6 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9. If you are unable to submit a nomination online, please contact Anne Buck at 952-548-6407.

Art from the Attic is November 12

Looking for an affordable way to beautify your home? Stop by Art from the Attic at the Hopkins Center for the Arts on Saturday, November 12, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and buy some wonderful pre-owned artwork sold by the Friends of Hopkins Center for the Arts. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to support art programs and activities for all ages at the Center.
