Free Leaf and Yard Waste Pick-Up Begins October 24

Free fall leaf and yard waste bag pick-up will be on your regular garbage day October 24 through November 17. If you live in the Bellgrove, Hobby Acres, Park Ridge and Interlachen Park, leaf and yard waste will be picked-up using front-end loaders and dump trucks November 7 through 10. Halloween in Hopkins is October 29

Break out your costumes a couple days early and head downtown for Halloween in Hopkins on Saturday, October 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring trick-or-treating along Mainstreet, a Haunted Jail Tour at the Hopkins Police Department, food trucks on the Artery and more. National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is October 29

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is coming up on Saturday, October 29. Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., dispose of unused medications at a drop-off location near you. Find your closest collection site.

Save the Date: Salute to Vets Program is November 10

The Hopkins Activity Center is hosting their annual Salute to Vets program and lunch on Thursday, November 10, beginning at 10:45 a.m. The program will honor veterans for their committed service. Reservations are required to attend by calling 952-929-1333. The cost is free for veterans, $9 for members and $10 for non-members.
