Join the Hopkins Race and Equity Initiative for a Town Hall Forum on voter suppression and ballot security on Wednesday, October 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Eisenhower Community Center Auditorium 

The panel discussion will feature Cheryl Youakim, DFL State Representative for Hopkins and St. Louis Park, Emma Greenman, DFL State Representative for Minneapolis and Richfield, and David Maeda, Director of Elections Office of Minnesota Secretary of State

The panel will be moderated by Hopkins High School History and Social Studies Teacher Rick Rexroth.

The Hopkins Race and Equity Initiative is a collaborative effort creating opportunities to increase awareness and understanding of race, equity and diversity and promoting a sense of community that welcomes and values all residents. Members include:

  • The City of Hopkins
  • The Gethsemane Lutheran Church
  • The Hopkins Public Schools
  • The Hopkins Police Department
