Raspberry Festival Ends July 17 with Grande Day Parade

Don't miss this fun-filled weekend of events celebrating the 88th Annual Hopkins Raspberry Festival. The festival ends Sunday, July 17, with the Grande Day Parade, beginning at 1 p.m. Find a full list of events, including the Marketplace Arts and Crafts Fair, Family Day in Central Park and the Raspberry Festival of Bands, on the Raspberry Festival website.


Park System Master Plan Kick-Off Event is July 19

Come plan with us! Bring your family to Cottageville Park on Tuesday, July 19, from 4 to 6 p.m., for a family activity night to help shape the City’s Park System Master Plan. Snacks will be provided. In the event of inclement weather, the planning session will be held at City Hall. Learn more about the Park System Master Plan and provide feedback. 


Sunset Series Arik Bieganek Concert is July 21

The Sunset Series continues Thursday, July 21, with children/kindie rock singer Arik Bieganek at 7 p.m. in Downtown Park. The concert is co-sponsored by kiddywampus, and will be a fun night of music and family fun, featuring a bubble station, temporary tattoos, toy demos and more. All Sunset Series concerts are free and open to the public. Find more information about The Sunset Series, including the summer series' line-up, on the Hopkins Center for the Arts website. 


Inaugural Slow Roll is July 28

Join the City of Hopkins and Three Rivers Park District on Thursday, July 28, at 6:30 p.m., for a Slow Roll through multiple stops. The ~2 hour experience is a fun, safe, and inclusive bike ride for people of all ages and skill levels. Follow the three-mile route, give feedback on the City’s new Park System Master Plan and explore how Hopkins is a Bicycle Friendly Community. There will be a short celebration at the end with light refreshments and giveaways. Sign-up online. Spots are limited. 


National Night Out Party Registration Deadline is July 30

The Hopkins Police Department invites you to be part of National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2. Build community by starting in your own back (or front) yard. Your event doesn’t have to be elaborate—it can be as simple as lemonade and conversation with neighbors. Plan a National Night Out party on your block by Saturday, July 30, at noon, by calling 952-548-6407 or registering online.
