The Freight Market is July 9

The Depot Youth Advisory Board is hosting the third annual Freight Market on Saturday, July 9. Stop by the Depot Coffee House between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to support local artists selling visual art, jewelry, clothing and more. Musicians will perform sets throughout the day, and coffee and treats will be available for purchase


Hennepin County Fix-It Clinic is July 9

Bring your small household appliances, clothing, electronics, mobile devices and more to a Fix-It Clinic on Saturday, July 9, from noon to 4 p.m., at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Hopkins. Receive free guided assistance from volunteers with repair skills to disassemble, troubleshoot and fix your items. Park System Master Plan Kick-Off Event is July 13

Come plan with us! Bring your family to Valley Park on Wednesday, July 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., for a family activity night to help shape the City’s Park System Master Plan. Snacks will be provided. In the event of inclement weather, the planning session will be held at City Hall. Learn more about the Park System Master Plan and provide feedback. 


88th Annual Hopkins Raspberry Festival Begins July 13

The 88th Annual Hopkins Raspberry Festival kicks-off on Wednesday, July 13. Fan-favorite events not to be missed include the Hunt for the Golden Raspberry, the Marketplace Arts and Crafts Fair, Family Day in Central Park and the Grande Day Parade. View the full list of Raspberry Festival events. 


Raspberry Festival Senior Social is July 13 

Join the Hopkins Activity Center on Wednesday, July 13, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for a Raspberry Festival Senior Social event. Socialize with other senior adults in the community and enjoy a raspberry ice cream treat while the Minneapolis Aquatennial Senior Choir gives a special presentation. Attend this free senior Raspberry Festival event and wear your Raspberry Festival button to show your support. Also at the event, meet and greet Raspberry Royalty, and enter the raffle drawing to win fabulous prizes ($1 per ticket). Receive a free ticket by bringing a food donation to ICA (limit one free ticket per person). No registration required. Sunset Series Ashley DuBose Concert is July 14

The Sunset Series continues Thursday, July 14, with R&B singer Ashley DuBose at 7 p.m. in Downtown Park. All Sunset Series concerts are free and open to the public. Find more information about The Sunset Series, including the summer series' line-up, on the Hopkins Center for the Arts website. 


National Night Out Party Registration Deadline is July 30

The Hopkins Police Department invites you to be part of National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2. Build community by starting in your own back (or front) yard. Your event doesn’t have to be elaborate—it can be as simple as lemonade and conversation with neighbors. Plan a National Night Out party on your block by Saturday, July 30, at noon, by calling 952-548-6407 or registering online.
