Join the Hopkins Race and Equity Initiative for a Town Hall Forum on race and education on Tuesday, May 24, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Eisenhower Community Center theater. 

Keynote Speaker Sondra Samuels will give a presentation on the role structural racism in education has played in solidifying racial disparities.

A question and answer session moderated by Diversity and Inclusion Consultant Bill Wells will follow. 


About the Hopkins Race & Equity Initiative

The Hopkins Race and Equity Initiative is a collaborative effort creating opportunities to increase awareness and understanding of race, equity and diversity and promoting a sense of community that welcomes and values all residents. Members include:

  • The City of Hopkins
  • The Gethsemane Lutheran Church
  • The Hopkins Public Schools
  • The Hopkins Police Department
