Curbside organics recycling is here! To help make this transition a fun learning experience, residents are invited to participate in an Organics Recycling Bingo Challenge. Compete with friends and family to reduce waste and manage organics in ways that encourage behavior change. Winners will be entered into a drawing to win three boxes of BPI bags. Learn more about the Bingo challenge here.
The City will also be holding two sessions on managing organics in January. An online session will be held Monday, January 24, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., and will be recorded. Participation information is available on the organics recycling webpage. An in-person session will be held Wednesday, January 26, from 5 to 6 p.m., at the Hopkins Activity Center. Registration is required. Find more information about Hopkins’ new curbside organics recycling program and sign-up to participate here.
