Registration Open for Youth Basketball League

Registration is open for Hopkins-Minnetonka Recreation’s in-house Youth Basketball League for grades 2-6. The league is a great opportunity for new and experienced players to develop their basketball skills and build new friendships. Boys and girls teams are formed by grade level. Ice Season Returns to the Pavilion September 7

Weekday Open Skates at the Hopkins Pavilion will begin on September 7. Adult Open Skate with sticks and pucks takes place Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Open Skate for any age with sticks and pucks is held weekdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday Open Skates begin on October 3. All Open Skates are $4 for adults, $3 seniors and students and free for kids under 5. More information about the Pavilion is available here.

Save the Date: Mainstreet Day Returns on September 25

Mainstreet Day, the annual arts and craft festival sponsored by JCI Hopkins, will be held Saturday, September 25, on Mainstreet in downtown Hopkins. The event is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature a variety of arts and craft vendors, food trucks, kids activities, a live magician and more. JCI Hopkins reinvests all proceeds from Mainstreet Day back into the Hopkins community to support programs and projects such as Cops 'n Kids shopping, Little Free Libraries, Rolling with the Bunny and high school scholarships.
