Connections - A Weekly Update from the City of Hopkins

325 Blake Road Open House is July 7

The City of Hopkins and the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) are partnering on the restoration and redevelopment of the property at 325 Blake Road (former Cold Storage site). MCWD will retain approximately 5 acres of the 17 acre site and is continuing to plan improvements for the natural space along Minnehaha Creek, which will connect the surrounding neighborhood to the Minnehaha Creek Greenway trail system, light rail transit, and regional bike trail. Stop by on Wednesday, July 7, for an open house between 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Cottageville Park Pavilion, where we will share early design ideas for the natural space, and seek the community’s ideas about this work. Learn more about the 325 Blake Road development here.
