COVID-19 Update: Hopkins Closes Facilities and
Cancels Programs

An executive order by Governor Tim Walz increased restrictions for fitness centers, restaurants, bars, gatherings and more for four weeks. The City of Hopkins will close most facilities and cancel most programming to prioritize the health and safety of our community.

Here's how the changes impact Hopkins, beginning Friday, November 20, at 11:59 p.m. through at least Friday, December 18: 

• City Hall – Remains open to the public with very limited staff. If you must come in, please make a service appointment, and follow health and safety regulations. The rest of our staff continues to work and offer services remotely. Call 952-935-8474 or contact our staff via phone or email. 
• Depot Coffee House  – Remains open with limited hours. 
• Hopkins Activity Center – Closed, and all in-person services and (non-school related) programming canceled. Information on virtual programming is available on the City of Hopkins website. 
• Hopkins Center for the Arts – Closed, and all in-person programming and events canceled. Virtual exhibitions and programming information is available on the Art Center website. 
• Hopkins Pavilion – Closed, and all (non-school related) programming canceled.
• Recreation programming – Canceled. Registered participants will receive detailed information. 
• Social settings, events and entertainment – No indoor or outdoor gatherings with people from other households.
