The general election will be held Tuesday, November 3. Polls will be open from 7 a.m.
to 8 p.m. Hopkins City Hall will also be open extended hours for absentee voting and ballot drop-off on Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Monday, November 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
To be counted, absentee ballots must be returned to the election office that sent your ballot by 3 p.m. on Election Day. You can drop-off ballots for up to three other voters. You will need to show identification with your name and signature when returning a ballot for someone else. Absentee ballots CANNOT be dropped-off at voting precincts on Election Day.
Whether you plan to vote early or on Election Day, be prepared for a lengthier process, longer lines and inclement weather.
