Ice Season Returns to the Pavilion September 8

Weekday Open Skates at the Hopkins Pavilion will begin on September 8. Adult Open Skate with sticks and pucks takes place Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Open Skate for any age with sticks and pucks is held weekdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday Open Skates begin on October 4. All Open Skates are $4 for adults, $3 seniors and students and free for kids under 5. Hourly ice rental is also available to groups or individuals. Emergency Help with Housing Costs Available
Through Hennepin County

If you live in Hennepin County and have lost income due to COVID-19, help may be available to you to cover current and past due housing costs such as rent, mortgage payments and utilities. Hennepin County is offering emergency housing help for households with total income up to 300 percent of the Federal Poverty Guideline (about $46,500 for a household with three people). You can apply and receive funding multiple times. If you have applied for help before, even if you were denied, apply again. Eligible applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Learn more and start your application here.

Share Your Thoughts on the Redevelopment

Plan Ahead to Vote in the General Election

The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3. If you are looking to minimize your direct contact with others and practice social distancing, you have the option to vote by mail. All Minnesota voters are eligible to vote by mail. You may apply for an absentee ballot online at mnvotes.org to vote by mail or contact City Hall for more information at 952-548-6302. Hopkins residents may vote in-person at City Hall starting on September 18.
