Community Image Award Nominations Now Open

The City of Hopkins annually honors property owners and business owners who have
made significant improvements to their property, including landscaping, accessibility,
signs, or exterior improvements. The award also honors those who demonstrate
continued, superior property maintenance. Community Image Awards are given in three categories: Single Family Residential; Multi-Family Residential; and Commercial/Industrial/Office. Nominations are due by Friday, August 28. Learn more and submit a nomination online here.

Hopkins Center for the Arts Open to Small Groups

The Hopkins Center for the Arts will be open to small groups of visitors on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., following the guidelines put in place by Governor Walz. Visitors are encouraged to make a reservation to visit the building by completing an online reservation form or by calling 952-292-3352 on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. More information is available here.

Hopkins Parks: Still Great Places and Great Spaces!

Summer is right around the corner and it is time, now more than ever, to get outside!  While the summer of 2020 is a little bit different than in year’s past, with some parks and park amenities closed or unavailable, Hopkins parks are “Still great places and great spaces!” Take some time to visit your local parks and trails this summer and discover all they have to offer, from serene creekside views, to great lawns perfect for frisbee or yard games.
