Hopkins Empty Bowls is March 10

The annual Hopkins Empty Bowls fundraiser will be held Tuesday, March 10, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. The event is free and open to all in the community. Summer Recreation Registration Begins March 10

Registration for Hopkins-Minnetonka Summer Recreation Programs begins Tuesday, March 10, at 8 a.m. Visit minnetonkamn.gov/recreationbrochure to check out the program options and choose from hundreds of activities, including fitness classes, kids’ programs, craft opportunities and athletic leagues. City Seeking Input on 2021 Budget

The City of Hopkins is asking residents, business owners and property owners to
provide input on the 2021 Budget through a short survey. The deadline to complete the survey is April 30. The City will also be holding budget engagement sessions on May 19 and August 18 from 6 to 7 p.m. at City Hall. Take the online survey here.

City Hiring Building Inspector and
Assistant Activity Center Coordinator

The City of Hopkins is seeking a Building Inspector responsible for enforcing compliance with all State building codes. Responsibilities include technical review of commercial and residential building plans; performing inspections; and issuing permits and certifications.

The City is also hiring an Assistant Activity Center Coordinator responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, supervising, promoting, and evaluating programs of the Hopkins Activity Center Older Adult Program. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, training, inspiring and evaluating program instructors and volunteers; assigning work duties; and connecting with community partners.
