Standard & Poor’s (S&P) Financial Services LLC reaffirmed the City of Hopkins’ AA+ bond rating, citing the city’s very strong economy, very strong management, very strong budgetary flexibility and very strong liquidity. This rating will be used to issue $8.425 million bonds on March 16th. The bond proceeds will be used to finance street improvements, utility improvements and mill & overlay projects in the City.
