Battery Recycling
Some batteries contain metals that are dangerous to the environment if thrown in the trash. Before you toss a battery, identify what type it is by checking the label and then review the chart for proper battery disposal available from Hennepin County.
You can drop off used household batteries in the Hennepin County collection containers located at:
