If a property owner experiences a problem with the sanitary sewer service not working properly, they should call the City Water & Sanitary Sewer Department FIRST. The City will have a Public Works employee investigate the problem. If the City sanitary sewer is working properly, the property owner will be notified to have it cleaned out to restore proper function to the service. If the problem is in the City sanitary sewer we will unplug the City's lines as quickly as possible.
The Water & Sewer Division can be reached on weekdays 7:30 am - 4:00 pm at 952-939-1382. All other times (Saturday, Sunday, Holidays, and after hours) call the Police Department at 952-938-8885 and they will contact the on-call Utility Personnel.
