Recycle

The City contracts for recycling services through Waste Management - Blaine. Curbside recycling services are provided to all single family, duplex, triplex and fourplex residential housing units. By special request and after a review by the contractor and the city, other townhome complexes may be included in the recycling services. The City's mandatory recycling ordinance requires all residents and businesses to recycle.

For more information on recycling, call Public Works at 952-548-6351.

News   June 2008

Best Buy has begun testing a new e-waste recycling program at 117 stores in Baltimore, San Francisco, Minnesota and several other states.

The program allows consumers to drop off as many as two items per household per day for free recycling. Participating stores will accept old items such as phones, cameras and TV and computer screens up to 32 inches. Other products such as air conditioners, microwaves and TVs larger than 32 inches will not be accepted.

Call your local Best Buy store before dropping off items to confirm it is participating.
